Economic Empowerment
Under this program, we have two projects:
Entrepreneurship
We train young adults, women, and men with disabilities in business development. Using the Street Business School business model. The training helps the trainees to unlock their potential by challenging them on how to get out of their comfort zone, how to identify potential opportunities, how to find capital for starting a business, how to start small, business planning, and bookkeeping and money management
Vocational Training
Through our Skills Development Center, youth, women, and men with disabilities are skilled and empowered on how to tailor, kniting, make candles, welding and metal fabrication, joinery and carpentry, Shoe repair and shoemaking, computer application, handcrafting, and also are trained in business development. In the end, this leads to the promotion of the right to WORK and employment for persons with disabilities.
